Today in the blog, we have some good places in Barcelona where you can go to enjoy a 'calçotada' without going far from the city center. Didn't try it yet? Don't take to long, otherwise the season will be over!
It's super close to Sant Antoni metro station. It's a cozy restaurant where the specialty is the grilled and the traditional cuisine. They have a complete menu called 'menú calçotada' –with some apetizers, calçots included of course, and a first course based on grill meat–. It also includes dessert and a beverage, and it costs 26€ per person.
Also, a traditional place where you will amazing grilled dishes. It's located in the city center, in Ciutat Vella district, and a great option for a 'calçotada' in the city center. The 'calçotada' menu is 35€ per person, but you will end up with a full and happy belly.
This restaurant is located 10 minutes walking from Alfons X metro station. Its specialty is Catalonian food, concretely calçots! They have also a fix-priced menu to have a perfect 'calçotada'; it includes calçots and grilled meet, bread, a drink, sparkling wine –cava–, and coffee, all of it for 32€.
Another recommendation! It's a couple of blocks away from Monumental metro station, and they they are experts also in traditional Catalonian cuisine. It's a cozy place where calçots are totally a must, but in this case you must order them in advance –and during calçot season, of course!–.
You will find it in Sants district. It's a little rustic restaurant especialized in grilled cuisine. Their 'calçotada' menu is also really complete, and it costs 30,90€ per person.

If you don't mind to go a little further for your 'calçotada', we recommend you to go to Can Cortada or Can Travi Nou to enjoy it in a Catalonian 'masía' –a traditional country house from Cataluña–. You will love the experience!
